Reflow Takt Simulator
What is a reflow takt simulator?
This is a free tool that allows you to easily simulate the transport speed, takt time, and processing capacity of a reflow oven.
By inputting parameters such as PCB dimensions and component placement conditions, you can instantly calculate the hourly throughput and required transport speed. This makes the tool useful for equipment selection, productivity analysis, and comparing prototype versus mass-production lines.
It can be used not only when considering the introduction of a new reflow oven but also for comparing it with existing equipment or as a reference for line improvements.
ANTOM ENGINEERING TOOLS
Conveyor Speed & Takt Calculator
Calculate the conveyor capacity required by the oven from the upstream process takt time.
Required Conveyor Capacity
Theoretical values based on single-lane conveying.
Required Conveyor Speed
0.52m/min or higherRequired Throughput
120boards/hour or higherConfirm whether the required temperature profile can be achieved at a conveyor speed of 0.52 m/min or higher.
Throughput by Number of Lanes
Comparison when boards can be loaded into every lane simultaneously at the same pitch without changing conveyor speed.
Multi-lane conveying assumes a mesh conveyor configuration.
| Conveying Method | Conveyor Speed | Actual Takt Time | Hourly Throughput |
|---|
* These are theoretical values. Loading and unloading wait times, equipment downtime, conveying losses, and board feeding methods are not included. Multi-lane results assume that boards can be supplied to all lanes simultaneously.
The results are simplified estimates of the required conveyor capacity. Equipment specifications, including the temperature profile, heated length, and thermal capacity, must be evaluated using the actual product.
