For temporary use, prototyping, and experimental purposes that do not require equipment installation, you can utilize our paid service, “Reflow Rental Lab.”
Confirm the reproducibility of temperature profiles, heating behavior, and finish quality—qualities that cannot be judged solely from catalogs and specifications—through actual equipment evaluation using a small reflow oven.

What is Reflow Rental Lab?

The Reflow Rental Lab is a paid plan that utilizes Antom’s small reflow ovens and evaluation space to provide the evaluation environment itself as a service.

It’s not just a simple hourly rental of equipment; it’s a service aimed at evaluating the heating process, including everything from pre-condition analysis to temperature profile creation.

For example, it’s used for the following purposes:

• We want to conduct a small heating experiment, but we don’t have a suitable environment in-house.
• We don’t need to outsource, but we want to produce small quantities of prototypes, etc.
• We don’t have an N2 machine in-house, but we want to conduct experiments using an N2 machine.

Even customers who don’t plan to purchase a reflow oven can use this service for experiments, evaluations, and prototyping.

Services offered (basic set)

Reflow Rental Lab provides the following as a basic service:

• Preliminary hearing regarding evaluation content and heating conditions
• Provision of an evaluation environment using a small reflow oven
• Temperature profile design based on evaluation conditions
• On-site equipment operation and support from technical staff
• Electricity and consumable costs associated with equipment use
• Creation of temperature profile and provision of data after evaluation

*This service is an evaluation service involving our technical staff. However, if the customer’s products are confidential, we will conclude a confidentiality agreement in advance, or, depending on the situation, we will arrange for the customer to use the equipment without the involvement of our technical staff.

Regarding the scope of coverage based on evaluation criteria

The scope of services offered at our reflow rental lab varies depending on the evaluation content and heating conditions.

We offer various evaluation methods, including on-site evaluations at our facility, evaluations using products (workpieces) sent to us, and remote demos and evaluations using a web environment.

Furthermore, fees vary depending on the evaluation content, heating conditions, and support scope. Please contact our agents or Antom for details.

As a general rule, pricing plans are set in half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) units.

If you inform us of your desired use and conditions in advance, we will provide you with information including feasibility.
