In addition, there are very few N2 compatible models with a total length of less than 4m and a 9-zone configuration with 8 zones of heating and 1 zone of cooling.
This is because the typical reflow for mass production is at least 5m long, and the longest one is 7m, so the equipment is even larger than our medium-sized reflow furnace (heating furnace) N2 compatible model SOL series.
Therefore, to be honest, if an overwhelmingly fast transfer tact is required, such as in an overseas EMS, the medium-sized reflow oven (heating furnace) N2 compatible model SOL series is not suitable (because the overall length is short, it cannot keep up with the extremely fast production tact).
However, on the other hand, it can be said to be the perfect model for customers who wish to shorten the installation space, such as in domestic (Japanese) mass production factories.
The most troublesome part of reflow mounting (soldering) is the maintenance (cleaning) of flux recovery.
Because equipment cannot be stopped during production, there are many sites where maintenance is carried out to collect flux during nights and holidays when the equipment is not in operation.
In addition, the maintenance method for flux recovery generally involves wiping with “cleaning alcohol,” which takes a considerable amount of time and effort to complete.
In order to solve these problems, the flux recovery installed in the medium-sized reflow furnace (heating furnace) N2 compatible model SOL series has a structure that maximizes the improvement in maintainability.
The photo on the left is a photo of the back side of the hood of the medium-sized reflow oven (heating furnace) N2 compatible model SOL series. As shown in the photo, there is a cover that opens and closes at the entrance, and you can see a square silver box and a spirally wound aluminum hose on the front side.
First, the box-shaped box in front contains a filter for collecting flux (fume), and this filter adsorbs the flux (fume) and collects it.
Furthermore, it has a double collection structure in which the flux (fume) that could not be collected by the filter alone is adsorbed by a spirally wrapped aluminum duct. The recovered hot air is then returned (circulated) within the furnace to improve thermal efficiency.
The biggest feature is that by adsorbing flux (fume), you can replace not only dirty filters but also aluminum ducts with adhered flux.
As a result, flux collection maintenance can be completed instantly without having to get your hands dirty, unlike the traditional method of wiping with cleaning alcohol.
By the way, you only need to replace the filter when it becomes dirty, as shown in the photo below (left), but the aluminum duct can also be easily removed, as shown in the photo below (right), so it takes about 30 minutes for customers to replace it for the first time. The structure is so simple that the work can be completed within a short period of time.
